I’m Hamish Lorne, an ocean conservationist, underwater wildlife photographer and lifelong fish nerd. My journey started with a love for reptiles and local river life, eventually shifting toward the ocean, where I’ve been ever since. From studying animal management and marine photography to hands on work in coral care and species ID, I’ve built my career around telling stories from below the surface. Whether I’m diving with a camera, volunteering in coral conservation or working as an aquatic engineer, everything I do is about connecting people with the ocean.
